A LiDAR iPhone or iPad is required for 3D scanning

Heatuneed uses Apple RoomPlan and the LiDAR Scanner to capture room geometry. Check the exact Apple models that can create a scan.

Why LiDAR is required

RoomPlan combines the rear camera and LiDAR depth readings to identify walls, openings, doors, furniture, and room dimensions. Apple reports RoomPlan scanning as supported only when the device contains a LiDAR Scanner.
